Adekunle Olayinka, is an Engineer of over Twenty-three years. He is a Project Management expert, an Administrator turned technocrat Politician, a fellow of the Institute of Investment Professionals (FIIP), a member of Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIN), member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE) and a member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering of Nigeria (COREN).
Born on March 10th, 1973 in Abeokuta, Olayinka has his maternal root from the illustrious Zannu family, Ikoga Zebbe in Badagry Local Government, Lagos State.
He attended Abeokuta Grammar School, Abeokuta, 1991, Yaba College of Technology, Lagos State, HND Electrical /Electronics Engineering, 1997, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Post Graduate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, 2011, Informatics Global Education, Post Graduate in Strategic Business in Information Technology leading to MSc SBIT, 2008, Singapore, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Masters in Business Administration (MBA) 2013.
In his quest for knowledge, he attended many Local and INTERNATIONAL (seminars, workshops and Courses in Governance, Business, Finance, Leadership and Engineering).
He began his career with Siemens ICN and moved to became a pioneer Engineer with MTN Ltd., and later to Ericsson International, Sweden for the Asia and Sub-Saharan African Projects covering (India, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, Lesotho e.t.c).
He has served as Director, South African College of Business and Technology, Johannesburg, South Africa.
He was the immediate past Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, Political matters 2015-2019.
He has served the Progressive Party in various Capacities, i.e Chief of Staff/Special Adviser to the Party’s State Chairman, 2010-2015.
He also served in various strategic committees for Congresses, Conventions and Electioneering Campaigns.
He is equally the Administrative Officer/ Head of Secretariat for the esteemed, State Leaders/Governor’s Advisory Committee (GAC).
He is the CEO and Founder of Kunle Olayinka Peace Initiative “KOPI”
He has received various awards in Youth Mentoring, Engineering, Business Investments, Leadership, Political and Rotary International & the Rotary Foundation: Paul Harris Fellowship (PHF).
His hobbies are, Table Tennis, Watching documentaries and movies on Politics and Governance, Playing and watching Soccer, Reading inspirational books on biography and visiting recreation.
He is married and blessed with children.
