MR. OGUNSANYA, ADEWUNMI GBOLAHAN-Permanent Secretary Cabinet Office/Office Of the SSG
Mr. Ogunsanya, Adewunmi Gbolahan was born on 11th July, 1968 to Prince Adesegun Alabi Ogunsanya of the Rademo Ruling House of Ikorodu and Mrs. Rachael Opeyemi Ogunsanya. He started his primary school education at Wesley Primary School Sagamu from 1974 – 1980 and proceeded to Sonmori Comprehensive High School, Ifako – Agege from 1980 – 1986 for his secondary school education.
Thereafter, he attended Lagos State University to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1991. His quest for more knowledge saw him acquired a Master degree certificate in Public Administration from the same Institution in 1996.
In September, 1992, he began his Civil Service career as Planning Officer II, GL.08 at the Lagos State Hospitals Management Board, where he worked for 6 years before his service was transferred into Mainstream Civil Service in 1998.
Since then, he has sojourned MDAs such as Lagos State House of Assembly; Ministry of Youth, Sports and Social Development; Lagos State Sports Council; Ministry of Rural Development and Community Affairs; Motor Vehicle Administration Agency; Lagos State Sports Commission, just to mention a few.
He was the Director, Administration and Human Resource in Ministry of Youth & Social Development prior to his appointment as Permanent Secretary in the State Public Service.
A seasoned Administrator, Mr. Ogunsanya exhibited his sterling transformational leadership quality in resuscitating the Registry System of Education District IV when he served as Director, Administration & Human Resource, the legacy which till date, is judiciously followed.
Ogunsanya loves watching and talking sports, as well as travelling.
He is married to Mrs. Kafayat Mojisola Ogunsanya and blessed with children.
